Keep the source with your material
Texture source notes
Make a SOURCES.txt file for your texture folder. Record creators, source pages, licences, changes and supplied notices.
Entries are assembled in this page. Export before leaving; your list is not saved here. The file records information you enter and does not grant permission or verify compliance.

What belongs in a source note?
Record the exact asset page and the licence version attached to it. Preserve supplied notices and describe changes. Add filenames so another artist can connect the record to the maps used in your scene. The texture licence guide links to the primary CC terms and explains the differences.
Does exporting the file prove permission?
No. This is an editable record of information you enter. It does not verify the rights holder, decide whether an adaptation is compliant, or grant a licence. Read the source terms for the use you intend.
Are my entries uploaded?
The list and TXT file are assembled in browser memory. This tool makes no upload request for the fields or output and does not save the list between visits. Site analytics may count actions such as adding or exporting, without receiving the titles, creators, URLs, notices or notes you type.
Which examples can I start with?
The prefilled records describe the checked three-map starters for Worn Planks, Medieval Blocks 05 and Cardboard 001. Their material pages provide the source credits and downloads. Add separate records for other assets or your own scene contributions.
Next: inspect repetition with the seamless checker, plan map sizes with the texture budget calculator, or read the library comparison with checked examples.
